Daisy
A poem for the sensitive souls & gentle hearts
I am learning to embrace the daisy that I am—
Fragile, delicate,
Pulled by the wind
But not uprooted.
Small, gentle,
Fragrant when one draws close.
I am learning to embrace the daisy that I am—
Sensitive, soft,
Pulled by the wind…
For when it seems I may become untethered
From the ground,
I am really dancing with the melody
Of the fresh air
As it tugs on my petals,
Pointing me toward the warmth of the sun…

I hope this poem encouraged you to embrace who you have been created to be. To be sensitive is a gift, and an honorable one at that. It is not something to be looked down on or treated with disapproval or disappointment. To be gentle and delicate are qualities to be cherished and stewarded, not cast off or discouraged. For the gentle in heart and the soft in speech, for the sensitive soul, you are not fragile because you are weak, you are fragile because you are a treasure. You deserve to be treated with great care <3
The Lord made daisies for a reason.
To be a daisy is a beautiful thing…
Let those around you see you dancing with the melody of the fresh air.
